Reel Youth facilitated two animation programs in 2011 in Lytton and Ascroft, BC, in partnership with Gold Trail School District 74. The students created these short films to express their views on LGBTQ rights, health care, unemployment, homelessness, corporate media, deforestation, and access to recreation centres.
