This online film program, made possible by Pitquhirnikkut Ilihautiniq / Kitikmeot Heritage Society, will bring together participants of ANY age to learn principles of film making, and practice media production skills by shooting and editing an original short video telling their story. No film making experience is necessary to participate!

      In this FREE program, you will:

          • Learn how to plan, shoot, and edit a short film
          • Receive a FREE software license for Adobe Premiere Rush
          • Receive a $500 honourarium
          • Receive a data top-up card (if you need it to participate)
          • Get creative, make new friends, and have fun!

      We are looking for people who:

          • Are excited to learn filmmaking!
          • Are from Cambridge Bay, Kugluktuk, Gjoa Haven or Ulukhaktok
          • Are available for ALL 6 program sessions listed below
          • Have access to a smartphone or video cameraa
          • Have access to a computer or laptop that can run Zoom (details) and                       Adobe Premiere Rush (details).

The program will run:

               5-7 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from Jan. 18-29.
