For the first time ever, the Reel Youth Film Festival is premiering online! We are so excited to be able to invite our international youth filmmakers, international youth jury, and any one else who missed the Vancouver Internationl Film Festival premiere to join us!

The Reel Youth Film Festival pulls together an insightful, diverse, compelling and humorous collection of short films from across the globe – all made by youth. Chosen by an international youth selection panel from over 1300 submissions and almost 100 countries around the world, this collection will show you the world through the eyes of an incredibly gifted emerging group of filmmakers. Whether it’s a Black woman’s story of attending a predominantly white college, a young man with autism enduring a bus ride, or stories of youth around the world adapting to COVID, laughter and learning are guaranteed at the Reel Youth Film Festival.

Saturday Nov. 7 at 5pm PST (Pacific Standard Time)
(get the time in your time zone here)

We will be hosting the event on Zoom. Please check out the trailer, and sign up below for the details!

In our work we strive to embody what we hope to see in the world—a just humanity and community in which people are free to be themselves fully and without fear. A community where no one is exiled or silenced because of gender, gender expression, race, color, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual/affectional orientation, age, class, physical character or disability. We believe in the power of storytelling to make connections across difference.
