The TROUBLEMAKERS 9.0 film program brought together an incredible group of emerging filmmakers and seasoned storytellers for an intensive eight-week journey exploring the rich tapestry of LGBTQI2S+ experiences in our community. Through collaborative workshops, mentorship, and hands-on production, participants dove deep into documenting the voices, struggles, and triumphs that have shaped our local queer and trans landscape. The resulting films are powerful testaments to resilience, creativity, and the importance of preserving these vital stories for future generations!

In our work we strive to embody what we hope to see in the world—a just humanity and community in which people are free to be themselves fully and without fear. A community where no one is exiled or silenced because of gender, gender expression, race, color, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual/affectional orientation, age, class, physical character or disability. We believe in the power of storytelling to make connections across difference.
