If you are between the ages of 15-20 and live in the
lower mainland, you are invited to join Reel Youth and
CitizenU!

CitizenU is an initiative for youth leadership and training
that runs until Nov. 2012. To get you started, Reel Youth
is offering a FREE course to train you in anti-discrimination
and film making. We will support you through anti-
oppression training, story development, production,
editing, and distribution. And you can get school credit for it!

When: May 19-20 from 10 to 4
May 25 from 5-9
May 26-27 from 10-4
* Must attend all sessions to participate
Where: Hollyhock Room at 163 West Hastings St.
Vancouver
Who: Open to everyone ages 15 to 20.
No experience necessary.
The Reel Youth citizenU Film Program is part of a larger 9-month initiative for youth leadership and training. After the film program, you will participate in a handful of city-wide intercultural events (June-July), and then be supported to create your own collaborative community projects (August-November).
As a participant, you will gain skills to become a leader for anti-racism and anti-discrimination through community engagement and leadership development. You will learn by doing, and will get to work with many other inspiring youth along the way!
Bus tickets will be provided, and school credits
are available for participation!
